My wife and I moved to Eynesbury as we knew people here and just loved the atmosphere and community.
Since moving to Eynesbury we have got married ๐คต๐ฐand had a daughter ๐ง, we love Eynesbury because its a very safe place to raise your kids and a very relaxing little town.
We moved to Eynesbury in 2014 to enjoy a nice quiet estate with a country feel.
We love that Eynesbury is a little piece of paradise not too far from the city or other infrastructure. It is an amazing place to raise a family where kids can enjoy the outdoors and the whole family enjoys the forest, wildlife and natural areas spread across the town.
The community really looks out for one another, everyone says hello or waves with a smile and you can always count on making long lasting friendships with the neighbours.
It’s so beautiful that we even got married ๐ here at the Eynesbury homestead.
My husband Peter and I looked at Eynesbury 15 years ago when we moved back from Adelaide. However, at the time we felt that it was a little too isolated for us and so we decided on Taylors Hill.
Wow! What bad decision! ๐
Over the 10 years we lived in Taylors Hill, we visited friends in Eynesbury and saw and heard about the wonderful community spirit here. Where else if your dog escapes will someone rescue it and keep it safe.
Need lemons on Christmas Day for your Margaritas, post it on the Eynesbury living page and someone will save the day!
In the 5 years we have lived here we have formed more friendships ๐โโ๏ธ๐๐โโ๏ธ than we did in Adelaide and Taylors Hill over 20 years.
Eynesburians talk to each other when your out walking, we compliment each others gardens, we watch out for kids playing in our streets, we look after each other, we feel safe.
Eynesbury really is like a country town and we love it!
We knew from the first time visiting that this was the place we wanted to be.
The community here is unlike any other, we have made friends who have become family & together created amazing memories at our MANY community gatherings/events.
Eynesbury is definitely the perfect place to raise a family. You wonโt be disappointed!
My family and I have lived here in Eynesbury for about 5 years. We moved here to get away from the busy lifestyle outside work and so far itโs been amazing.
The kids go to the local schools and most of their friends live within walking distance. We love the community events held here in Eynesbury, especially the bon fire and fireworks.
As a family we feel like itโs a fairly safe place to be. We take the dogs for walks and can enjoy a nice bike ride. There is plenty of grass to run around on as well with the kids.
We seem to have the best of both worlds living here, we are in between the city and the coast.
We found Eynesbury by accident on our travels to visit friends in Bacchus Marsh. The second we drove through the Greybox forest we felt such serenity and knew it was different to any other estate.
We first built our house thinking it would be for investment but towards each stage of the construction we started to think it was for us and not a rental.
Since moving to Eynesbury from Hoppers Crossing we started our family life. Now 3 kids later, we’re more certain Eynesbury is for us than anywhere else.
We’re feeling more rooted here than ever before and since have made wonderful friends through our children’s kindergarten and schooling.
This estate makes us feel like we’re away from all the hustle and bustle of every other neighbouring suburb yet close enough to the CBD and the western and norther corridors.
We’ve just purchased a second block facing the Greybox forest and cannot wait to begin to build our dream home.๐
My partner and I moved here at the start of the year. Previously we had been moving regularly trying to find โhomeโ. Our search was over when we first arrived. Never even hearing about Eynesbury, we were quite nervous. However, since being here we have found a sense of belonging – neighbours have welcomed us with kind arms ๐ค, community events have provided us with a homey, family vibe and the local wildlife is something I have never seen before. ๐บ๐ป๐ฏย ย ๐ซฃ๐จ
We now โboastโ to our familyโs about living in Eynesbury and love having family days enjoying local food and markets!
We are so grateful to have found Eynesbury and its beautiful community. Good luck getting us to ever leave!
We moved to Eynesbury after recently buying a large block of land to build our dream house. We absolutely love it here.
There is a real sense of community here, everyone looking out for each other.
We have made some great connections with other families.
We love that it is quiet, not too busy and an enjoyable area to be around. We also love that it feels like you are in the country but not too far away from amenities.
Looking forward to what the town will become and creating memorable moments with our growing family.
My fiancรฉ and I began our life here in Eynesbury over 3 years ago and couldnโt imagine living anywhere else!
The tranquillity of this little township is like no other with the stunning forest, golf course views and the historic buildings. There is a huge sense of community here, from the moment we moved in we were blown away ๐คฏ with how everyone you walk past will say hello or stop for a chat.
One of our favourite parts is being so close to Ms Peacock to have a delicious dinner in the evenings or stopping for coffee at Birdy & Co whilst walking the dogs!
We moved to Eynesbury because we wanted a quiet, family-friendly suburb that was well-presented. We were not disappointed! Our kids love living here because they know more people than we do! They attend childcare, kindergarten, school, and school programs here, and they’ve made friends with everyone.
The Eynesbury community is truly like no other. There’s always an event around the corner to look forward to. There are beautiful tracks to walk and run on, and there’s plenty of wildlife to see. It’s a great escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
We love living here because we feel comfortable letting our kids ride their bikes around the neighborhood. Everyone seems to know everyone, and it’s a great place to raise a family.
Here are some of the things we love about living in Eynesbury:
The sense of community: Everyone is friendly and welcoming. It’s a great place to meet new people and make friends.
The safe and family-friendly environment: The streets are quiet and there are plenty of parks and playgrounds for kids to play in.
The natural beauty: Eynesbury is surrounded by bushland and there are plenty of opportunities to go for walks, hikes, and bike rides.
The convenience: Eynesbury is close to schools, shops, and other amenities.
If you’re looking for a quiet, family-friendly suburb with a strong sense of community, then Eynesbury is the perfect place for you!
I am delighted to share my experience of living in Eynesbury, a small country-like town that has won our hearts.
My partner played football for the club and he loved every moment of it. The club has a great atmosphere, and it is a fantastic way to socialize with the locals. My partner also loves golf, and he is in his element with the golf course literally at our back door.
Our daughter goes to the Eynesbury kindergarten, the teachers are friendly and professional, and the facilities are top-notch. My daughter absolutely loves going to kindergarten, and I am happy that she is receiving a quality education that will prepare her for the future.
Eynesbury is a great area with a close knit community, and we are happy we have chosen this area to raise our young family. The parks and facilities here, including the local homestead, make it easy to take the kids out for a few hours or even the day. The community is friendly and supportive, and we have made some great friends since moving here.
If are looking for a great place to live, Eynesbury is the place to be. It is a small town with a big heart, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a friendly community, great facilities, and a safe environment to raise a family.
Eynesbury is our first home, but also our forever home.
We are a young family of 3 young girls and 2 fur babies.
We are so lucky to have what we have here on our doorstep in Eynesbury. Our backyard opens up onto the Box forest, across the road we have the homestead, we have an amazing Primary school here, the nature and the history, but also the community.
You wouldnโt find anything like what we have anywhere. We are extremely lucky.
We began building our house as expectant parents and moved to Eynesbury when our daughter was three months old.
We wanted a place that offered space, community and a country vibe but still close enough to the city and our friends in the suburbs. 6 years later and we now have three young children.
As our family has grown we have had all the family facilities we needed.
Eynesbury Early Education, Eynesbury Kindergarten and Eynesbury Primary School have all become a welcomed part of our lives providing care, education and support that is unique to Eynesbury.
We love that the children can and do play outside and make most of our special local environment.
We moved by chance, and stayed by choice. After moving to Victoria temporarily for work.
We found this little oasis called Eynesbury.
Unlike anywhere we’ve lived before, there was a sense of familiarity. Big open yards, with wrap around verandah’s and white picket fences. It really is the Australian dream, the sense of community and safe streets makes Eynesbury the best place to raise a family.
The life long friendship’s we’ve made are just the cherry on the top to living in such a unique community. The girls have grown up with freedom riding their bikes in the street, walks in the forest but also with so much available. Skate bowl, tennis courts, events at the homestead.
We really are spoilt in the lifestyle that living in Eynesbury creates.
We moved here as renters with the intention of staying 12 months โฆ
Almost 10years later weโre still here in our own home and we love it.
We love the community spirit where everyone seems to know each other, either through family or friends, the Eynesbury Eagles FNC or the Golf clubโฆ It makes for a very healthy social life !
We built our dream home in Eynesbury because we wanted that country feel with easy city and airport accessibility.
We felt it would be a great place to raise our kids in a tight knit community.
We love this township, my wife Kristie and I and our kids have created so many great memories and life long friendships.
We are actively involved in the Football/Netball club and I have sponsored these and the cricket club for many years through my business.
We have no plans of moving anywhere else anytime soon!
We moved to Eynesbury because we loved the community atmosphere Eynesbury has.
We wanted to build somewhere that we knew would be the perfect for raising our young family and Eynesbury had such a connected community that makes you feel like you’re a part of something bigger then just yourself.
Your neighbours aren’t just someone you wave to here, they’re people that become friends and your children grow up knowing theirs. The day care and kinder services have been phenomenal for our two boys and we can’t wait to be able to utilize the school when they reach that age.
Growing up in small towns, both my husband and I couldn’t wait to have that same lifestyle for our boys where they will grow up feeling safe and surrounded by families who share the same attitude and values we do and so far we have aligned ourselves with some great families already.
We wanted to move to Eynesbury because we wanted to raise our children in a friendly, tight-knit community.
We loved the idea of having a larger block with a big backyard, lots of native wildlife, large open spaces and big walking tracks for the our family to use when outdoors.
We feel super lucky to be a part of the community where weโve made some lovely friends, have the greatest neighbours and thereโs lots of events and activities for us to get involved in!
We moved to Eynesbury prior to the birth of our twins for a change of pace.
To be able to raise the kids in such a beautiful, open and nature-based area was important to us and Eynesbury really provides a tight knit community feel.
Our family moved to Eynesbury after a short visit to the discovery centre, seeking more land for our family with 3 young boys.
One year after that initial visit we moved into a brand new home with a large block and a beautiful outlook onto the golf course.
The community we have found here is incredible, our neighbours are the friendliest people on the planet ๐๐ผ and we could not ask for a better street to live in.
The local restaurant is our go to for fun family nights out as well as intimate ‘date’ night dinners, oh and don’t forget the amazing ice cream at the grocery store.
The friends we have made here are for life and we look forward to the wonderful years ahead.
We’ve been wanting to move to Eynesbury for years but it wasn’t the right time.
Once the kids grew up and moved we decided now was the time and we moved here.
We love the close community and how everyone will just help one another if they can. Just last week I had to young boys come knocking at my door because they smelt gas, they were right we had a gas leak….thank you boys!
I rang our local plumber in Eynesbury and in 5 mins someone was out here checking the metre out. Now, that’s what you call service.๐๐ผ
We moved to Eynesbury in 2013, getting married later that same year, at the Eynesbury homestead.
Both having grown up in the outer western suburbs of Melbourne, we wanted a community atmosphere and family friendly place for us to raise our family.
That is absolutely what we love about Eynesbury.
We have now grown our family, and outgrown our first home in Eynesbury. We purchased a new block and completed our second home in Eynesbury in late 2021.
We love the friendly feel and community spirit of Eynesbury.
There are many community groups starting to establish themselves, and as our children are growing we are getting involved more with these groups.
The primary school is excellent, and our two older children are really thriving there.
We love that our children are within safe walking/bike riding ๐ด๐ผโโ๏ธdistance to the school – which helps us feel safer to allow them gradually more independence.
We also really love the parks, and regularly enjoy spending time playing there.
Eynesbury holds a special place in my heart ๐ for various reasons.
Firstly, its picturesque landscapes captivate me every time I lay eyes on them. The rolling hills, vast open spaces, and tranquil ponds make for a truly serene environment.
Additionally, the tight-knit community of Eynesbury is incredibly warm and welcoming.
Whether it’s participating in local events or simply engaging in conversations with its residents, the sense of belonging and camaraderie is palpable.
Moreover, Eynesbury boasts an array of recreational activities such as golfing and walking trails, allowing for a well-rounded and fulfilling lifestyle. The beauty of Eynesbury lies not only in its physical attributes but also in the vibrant spirit of its people, making it a truly unforgettable place.
As a family with 5 growing children we wanted to purchase our forever home in a place that valued community and a place where the children were able to safely play and explore the outdoors.
From the first moment we drove into the estate we were sold!
When I first stumbled upon Eynesbury I was joining a couple of mates for a round of golf. I knew then I needed to drive through the local town with my wife to make her think it was her decision to move here. ๐
Fast forward 12 months, and Eynesbury has become home.
As a family of five, we have found everything we could have wished for in this little town.
My daughter loves going to the local kinder, has built strong friendships. Our eldest son attends the near by Metlon Specialist School, where he has thrived and excelled since joining. Equally impressive is Eynesbury Primary School, where our other son is enrolled where we have seen remarkable progress in his academic and personal growth.
We love visiting the local market ran once a month on a Sunday. It’s a perfect opportunity to connect with neighbours, support local businesses, and discover new treasures.
Eynesbury embraces events and celebrations with enthusiasm. Throughout the year, the homestead hosts a variety of events, from winter festivals to relaxing Sunday sessions during the summer months.
The golf course remains my personal favourite feature of Eynesbury with well-maintained greens and challenging holes.
The sense of community, excellent educational opportunities, and various recreational options make it an ideal place for families.
If you’re looking for a place to call home where you can enjoy life’s simple pleasures and create lasting memories, Eynesbury should be at the top of your list.
We moved to Eynesbury when we decided to downsize. We were looking for somewhere not too far from where we work; somewhere peaceful, surrounded by nature and home to a warm community. ๐
Eynesbury more than met the brief, and exceeded all of our expectations.
It’s so lovely receiving friendly smiles and waves from neighbours, from right throughout the neighbourhood.
Not long after moving in, we went through all of the lockdowns during the pandemic. Living in Eynesbury was a blessing. To be confined to our home, yet able to sit on the front porch overlooking our beautiful parkland made it so much easier. And working from home was actually a pleasure.
We are grateful every day for our community; we honestly wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.
I first went came to Eynesbury to play golf and I fell in love with it as soon as I drove through the forest to arrive into the township. It had a beautiful feel to it.
I went there again another day for lunch and I then walked around the area and I knew immediately thatโs where I wanted to live.
Eynesbury is home like no other because the community are so warming and touching, you walk the dog and everyone will say hello. ๐๐ผ
The native trees and frost make it feel like you are in another suburb. Hearing the wildlife daily brings so much joy and happiness to say I love where I live.
We moved to Eynesbury because homes were more affordable and quiet. Close to shops and not far from Melbourne city. We have great neighbours. Great parks. Nice cafรฉ and golf course. We love living here, great restaurant and bar Ms Peacock.
I have given up work as I now have a terminal diagnosis of Frontal Lobe Dementia. Itโs hard living on 1 income and I get very little payment from Centrelink. We do the very best we can to keep living cost effectively. We keep our bills low so we can make the payment without falling behind. We do the best we can to keep going.
My life has changed and I get out and about to keep my body and mind active. We are selling our Holden WB one toner to give us some income to repair and update our showers.
We love living in Eynesbury. Life is great in Eynesbury.
Life is very different for me๐ฅนbut I just keep living day by day to the best of my ability to keep staying positive๐ and help other people in need.
We moved to Eynesbury in 2021, in the middle of Covid-19, from NW Victoria, having retired from an almost 50 year banking career.
We moved south to be closer to family and to enjoy some cooler summers. The moment we drove in and around Eynesbury, we knew it was the place for us.
We had lived in a golf course estate for the last 20 plus years up north, and Eynesbury reminded us so much of there.
The open spaces, the neat streets, the beautifully maintained golf courses, the lovely Homestead with the bar and restaurant, the sporting facilities, the education hub, are all major pluses for Eynesbury. Within days of moving in, a number of our neighbours had introduced themselves and even provided welcoming gifts๐๐๐.
We are so lucky to be surrounded by caring, considerate and genuine neighbours, it makes living here so enjoyable. We also love the drive into Eynesbury, the countryside reminds us of our many years living amongst farming communities.
Eynesbury is almost a hidden secret, and we highly recommend it as place to live, regardless of what stage of your life you may be at.
My husband and I fell in love with the town its quite and beautiful out here. We now have kids and think its an amazing place to raise our children with two parks and lots of bike tracks at our fingertips and always something new to explore in the forest.
Eynesbury is such a lovely community especially with all the sporting clubs in town you don’t need to venture out to neighbouring suburbs. Eynesbury has such a nice feel to it.
We moved to Eynesbury from Melton 6 years ago. From the moment we moved the advantages were clear, quieter, more space, bird and animal life and walks which there are many.
It starts with the drive down Eynesbury road as you head past paddocks and then into the forest you know you are home. The tree lined streets have a rural feel but still being in the suburbs.
As we like to walk with our dogs we meet up with other people walking or taking their four legged friendโs for a walk ๐ฆฎ๐ฉ๐โ๐ฆบ. People are happy to have a chat whilst they are doing gardening or just simply enjoying their garden. Even the dogs have certain friendโs that they like to say gโday on their walk.
Our favourite thing is the sunrises and sunsets! ๐๐
The sunrises which we get a front row seat every morning, imagine sitting with a coffee and enjoying the start of the day while magpies sing their songs and watching kangaroos grazing this is our life in Eynesbury every morning. The sunsets from my back deck are amazing and unique to any were else in suburban Melbourne.
Watching as sun sets on the grey box forest and seeing the colours change against the trees is very special and if you close your eyes the sound of native birdโs singing there songs after a hard days work if you are very lucky you may see a mob of kangaroos heading home for the night.
My wife visited here first and was so impressed with the “village style” of the place.
She contacted me about shifting here. As soon as I arrived in Eynesbury, I fell in love with it.
Since shifting here, we’ve been so impressed with the caring and generous community.
The Eynesbury Facebook page is a brilliant source of information, answers to queries and the old fashioned “people helping people” ethos. I’m so glad I shifted here and can’t think of ever moving.
Our lives feel enriched by a beautiful and support community!
We love the tranquil setting with surreal surroundings and feel super lucky to be part of Eynesbury. My girls love being in school here and making friends so close to home is what attracts us all.
Thank you for taking good care of us here in Eynesbury
We moved to Eynesbury because my husband was ill so we thought we would downsize and be closer to our daughter. But unfortunately my husband passed away on moving day so here I was struggling with grief in a unfamiliar area during covid.
After the restraints of covid lifted I walked every day so I could become familiar with the area. During one of my walks I met one of my neighbours walking with her toddler and soon established we lived across the road from each other so we planned to meet each morning and walk together her with her little one and me with my dog.
Soon after she introduced me to some of the other neighbours and we become known as Marong Posse where we would have chats through messenger. Since then we have become very close and always ready to jump in and help and support each other and I’m very grateful that they all have welcomed me into their group and have helped me transition from a married women to a single lady living alone.
And not forgetting my lovely friend Leonie who also took me under her wing when we met at the dog park and introduced me to more people living in Eynesbury. I would never have thought 2 years ago when I moved here alone that I would be welcomed so much as I have been and have made life long friends. Thank you beautiful Eynesbury my “Home”
We had not considered Eynesbury as my husband played golf there. After a drive around the town, I knew that we belonged to Eynesbury and Eynesbury belonged to us. It is a hidden gem and we found it.
Eight months later, here we are enjoying the beautiful sunsets from our backyard and the community that is friendly and helpful.
๐ถBiff, our rottweiler, has also settled in beautifully.
We have met so many lovely neighbours while taking him for walks.
We have found our forever suburb and if we were ever to move house, we would still remain in Eynesbury. We love our town.
Who knew that taking our children to the Saturday morning kids golf clinic would result in us selling up in Caroline Springs and moving to Eynesbury.
We had fallen in love with not only the beauty of the township’s surrounds, forest and architecture, but also its serenity and safe community feel. We were living in a big house on a small block and craved space for both us and the kids to move around in and enjoy.
Over the years, we have seen the heartbeat of the Eynesbury community and felt its love.
While I was unwell years ago, our neighbours looked after our children and our front yard.ย My husband would come home from visiting me in hospital to find them tending to our garden.
Evening sunset walks almost always involve a chat with locals, its a place where even complete strangers become friends.
We have so many stories of special times in our town. Many people not living in Eynesbury wonder what we do in Eynesbury and then I start to tell stories and they are mesmerised. I wonder how many of our long-time locals remember the emu walking around Eynesbury years ago, the stray dog that locals adopted and we all love and look forward to the annual fireworks.
Eynesbury is, indeed, a special place of whimsy and wonder and, for a creative like myself, a constant source of inspiration.
Our family loves living here and we could not imagine calling any other place home.
Originally we were farmers in the Mallee North Western Victoria. For the last 12 years we were living in Melton & have a family run business there.
We moved out to Eynesbury in March this year-we love it, we love it, we love it.
The people are so friendly and actually speak to you. ๐๐๐ค We have fantastic neighbours, everyone is kind and helpful. We love the peacefulness-especially the forest – it is very calming.
We also love the history & heritage especially the shearing shed, shearing quarters etc we feel at home. We love the community vibe out here & the homestead. We enjoyed the Anzac Day Ceremony. I cannot think of a better place to live.
Our daughter Bianca & her 3 year old (Ava) also live with us – they love it to. The 3 year old loves the local wildlife & the walks & playing with the kids out here. The Freedom of living & being out here.
It is a magical place & cannot be taken for granted, we just love it.
I moved into Eynesbury to be closer to my family who already lived here.
I always loved visiting but since living here have discovered more and more to love.
My son and I frequently take walks through the forest, hunt for golf balls โณ, visit the peacocks ๐ฆ and enjoy meeting new people ๐โโ๏ธ in the parks and playgrounds.
It’s such an easy place to connect to a community and we always make sure we support the local events which we love having so close to us.
We moved to Eynesbury in 2009. We moved here for the open spaces and it was built as a township, different to other estates in the area.
Our children and grandchildren love to come to events held up here and often stay over and enjoy the lifestyle also. When we first moved here we as a family would go down to the homestead every Friday night and meet with the other residents, it was such a wonderful atmosphere.
We absolutely love living here and can go for beautiful walks with our dogs and see something different every time.
Since moving to Eynesbury we have loved the feeling of being part of a community.
It allows us to get involved as much or as little as we want.
Some of our enjoyable times have included Trivia at the Homestead, Market days, Breast Cancer Mothers day fun runs (we walk ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ถ) Winter Wonderland in Eynesbury, Cultural events to name a few.
We regularly walk the many walking paths and my husband is the trainer for the seniors footy club. We know our neighbours, we chat and always wave hello! I especially love seeing on our Eynesbury social media pages, questions of people asking if others have spare food items or when someone has too much of a food item and is wanting to share.
Beautiful! The progress Resimax is making warms our heartsโค๏ธโ๐ฅ. I will always remember during COVID lockdowns, the very kind gesture of seeing toilet rolls sitting on our front door steps.
Eynesbury is where we live and it is our home! Gotta love where you live โค๏ธ
We moved to Eynesbury at the end of 2019, because we wanted the somewhat country lifestyle.
The community is a close one, and I love how much effort everyone puts in to everything we do here, whether it be a community event, help in locating miss dogs or coming together to support other members of our community.
Living here during COVID made getting through that mischief easier, the friendly faces you would see on walks, or even just going for a bush walk and feeding the ducks just made it easier for myself, husband and twin boys.๐จโ๐ฉโ๐ฆโ๐ฆ
I love Eynesbury and bringing up my family in Eynesbury!
My partner and I decided to buy our first home together in 2020. We have a love for the bush and native animals, however we did not want to live somewhere that was too far away from shops, services and the city.
When we came across Eynesbury, it ticked all of our boxes.
Not only was it affordable to buy a family home, but it matched up to everything that we were looking for in a community. We love the local markets and events that are frequently on. We love Ms Peacock and their special food nights and trivia.
We love the walking trails and the style of houses that make the neighbourhood unified. Most importantly, we love how all the residents are so friendly when you walk past them. It’s amazing what a little, “hello, how are you” does. We definitely feel very safe and secure in this community.
For all of these reasons, we don’t want to live anywhere else.
We decided to move to Eynesbury because we wanted space for our children to grow into, we wanted the Aussie dream, a back yard big enough for the trampoline, the dogs ๐ถ and our twins…๐ง๐ง
Coming to Eynesbury was an easy move from Caroline Springs, less traffic, and who could resist the forest each day…
We love the sense of community and the safe feeling of being surrounded by like minded families…
The school opening just in time for our kids to start school was a blessing, and our children are lucky enough to be able to walk to school each day.
Even though Eynesbury is a little way out, itโs worth the trip!
We moved to Eynesbury after many years of my in-laws firmly suggesting that we join them here.
After having quite a few really difficult years for our family, we thought change would be nice (plus we always enjoyed spending weekends visiting, so why not live here too?!)
I love serenity and the fresh air out here, compared to living near freeways in built up areas.
Itโs such an awesome community and family friendly one to be apart of, and has been a great place to raise our family and experience things together such as the winter solstice, Christmas events and the weekend markets.
Overall Eynesbury is an amazing community and wonderful place to live and weโre so glad that we have a place like this to live in.
We moved to Eynesbury in 2021 and have not looked back!
Living in Eynesbury afforded us the opportunity to live on a decent sized block ๐๏ธ (something of a rarity these days elsewhere!). We also fell in love with the wide open spaces, forest reserve, heritage listed homestead and buildings and the abundance of wildlife at our doorstep.
It is proving to be a wonderful place to raise our family with its community spirit and safe environment. A true hidden gem!
We first became aware of the Eynesbury development prior to any major development work being started. With our then ‘very young’ family, we would often drive down Eynesbury Road only to get the beginning of the forest where the road would stop before turning around and heading to our home in Melton.
Having lived in the Melton area all our lives, Eynesbury had fast become a place we wanted to call home and we have happily and proudly called it that for the last 13 years.
Our children have now become adults and we have watched them grow into the community and enjoyed every moment of that.
The vibe that is created as you enter into the forest and drive around the Homestead surrounded by the golf course is unlike any other.
We’ve watched the community grow, the development evolve and we’re very excited to see what’s next in the Eynesbury’s chapter.
We have lived in Eynesbury since 2014 and couldnโt imagine living anywhere else.
Before Eynesbury came to be, my husband grew up in the area, as did his mother, stemming back generations of one of the farming families.
Itโs so lovely to be able to go on walks and share that history with our children, visiting my husbands childhood home (on the 18th hole), the homes his grandparents lived in along Eynesbury Rd, and all the other farming landmarks his family used.
We love the country feel and the quiet, but also that we remain not far away from family and the hustle of the suburbs and city.
Eynesbury is a wonderful community, full of friendly and caring neighbours. We love the free events, especially the monthly market and everything that gets put on for the kids.
Itโs great to live somewhere that is so invested in by the developer and by those who live within. The way the community looks out for one another is truly something else and quite rare these days.
The Eynesbury community is truly like no other because of the love, compassion and inclusivity that we have experienced daily since moving here.
During our time living in Eynesbury we have experienced the highest of highs, buying our first property as a couple and calling Eynesbury our home.
But we unfortunately also experienced the lowest of lows when we lost our son.
The sense of belonging to this community was truly evident when we did our final goodbyes to our son as he was driven by our home here in Eynesbury before being taken to his final resting place.
Our truly amazing neighbours and locals (that we now happily call our friends) that we had met on our walks came together in our little quiet street during lockdown to socially distance and farewell our little boy; out of love and respect for us and our beloved son these wonderful people brought flowers and walked with their heads bowed as they escorted the hearse as we left.
We will forever be grateful and cherish these people that have become family to us.
These wonderful people uplifted us during such a heartbreaking time and continue to love and support us and celebrate in our achievements throughout the years, and that’s what makes this community beautiful.
Thank you to the truly amazing locals that make Eynesbury the wonderful community it is.
We love living in Eynesbury, we have made some really great friends here and its so great all of our children can walk or ride their bikes safely to each others houses to hang the out.
I have the residents of Eynesbury to thank for helping me start and run my very successful business in the community.๐
The community events are fantastic like the monthly market, and just a walk down the road to Ms Peacock and little Birdy Cafรฉ to catch up with friends or take the family for a beautiful meal.
The new sporting facility is awesome and has really brought the community together with football and netball. Go Eagles! ๐ฆ ๐ฆ ๐ฆ
Thereโs been many, many special life occasions celebrated at the Eynesbury Homestead over the past ten years with memories to treasure. From kids birthdays, milestone birthdays, family reunions, weddings, French nights, painting classes, food festivals, winter festivals, bon fire nights and the list goes on.
But one memory I will always look back fondly on is the community celebration when the Bulldogs made it into the Grand Final. ๐๐ฅ๐
We all banded together to celebrate living in the west with that win and what better place to watch that game then the Eynesbury Homestead which is a bit like a second home to us all and itโs why we moved here.
Moving from regional NSW we were looking for a more rural lifestyle when searching for a building block and stumbled across Eynesbury by accident.
Once we drove through the then much smaller township than it is now we knew we had found exactly what we were looking for.
Being able to sit overlooking the golf course, watching Kevin the Kangaroo and hear the birds singing is what makes this place so much more than special. ๐ฆ๐๏ธ๐ฆค
Over the last 11 years we have made so many new and lifelong friends and established ourselves as true locals.
My partner and I moved from a close by town where we felt like we didnโt want to leave the house or do any outside activities.
Since weโve been here we go on daily walks, stay social at Ms Peacock which is wonderful place to meet new people, about to start maybe hitting a golf ball or two and do frequent visits to the local dog park. All in which we never did in our old house.
We are in the best state of mind since moving into this calm town and grow to love it more and more each day.
I think itโs fair to say weโll be sticking around for a while
